Er stammt aus einem 24-jährigen Einzelfass Balvenie, dass mit der Zugabe eines Teelöffels Glenfiddich in einen „Blended Malt“ verwandelt wurde. Diese Mischung aus Balvenie, mit ein paar Milliliter Glenfiddich, nennt man Burnside.
Er wurde 1992 destilliert und mit einer natürlichen Fassstärke von 50.1% abgefüllt. Steinobst, Honignoten, und eine Malzsüsse sind hier perfekt ausgewogen.

Viscuous Honey on top of porddige is how we would sum up this whisky. This Burnside was exclusively bottled for and is exlusively available from House of Single Malts.
This malt whisky stems from a single hogshead of Balvenie, to which was added a teaspoon of Glenfiddich, converting it into a “blended malt.”
It was distilled in 1992 and was bottled at natural cask strength of 50.1%, an ideal drinking strength. Notes of honey, pear, and plum combine with a malty sweetness to make this whisky beautifully drinkable.
